Job description

In the role as developer, you will be part of the Ovako Manufacturing Execution System (MES) team. Your tasks will include involvement in current projects and working with new development and management of existing applications. In this role, you will regularly meet with internal customers, colleagues in every part and at every level of the company’s operations. Accordingly, you must be a social and communicative individual who feels comfortable interacting with people in various departments within the organization.

Qualifications

Strong technical and theoretical knowledge are essential to success in the role. We are also looking for experience as a systems developer, in a role that has given you practical experience in the field with focus on: .NET development in multilayered solutions with service-based architecture, as well as strong skills in MS SQL Server.

Strong skills in the following are also required:
• C#
• ASP.NET/MVC
• WinForms
• Visual Basic 6

Experience or knowledge of the following is preferred:
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• ClickOnce
• Windows Server
• MES development, OPC
• OpenVMS
• Oracle RDB (Database)
• C and/or Fortran
• DecForms and/or TDMS (image management)
