Job description

As an MS Dynamics AX Solution architect you will be responsible for assuring a well-functioning architecture in our AX area in accordance with both IT and business strategy at both a local and global level. You will work close to other applications specialists and technical architects in the AX area.
In this role, you will work both practically, with daily architectual problems, as well as with strategical planning. You will also engage in integration and process development and serve as solution architect when developing future ERP projects.
This is a new and exciting position within the AX maintenance team at Ovako and you are therefore given the opportunity to make an impact on the future architectural structure. The architecture at Ovako today, includes level two to four (MES to MS Dynamics AX).

Qualifications

• Academic education in IT, or other education that the employer considers suitable
• Experience of working with MS Dynamics AX/365, as IT- or business architect, preferably within an industrial context.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English (both written and oral)

Meritorious:

• Formal IT Architect and/or Business Architect education
• Previous work-experience from the process- or steel industry sector
• Experience as Application Developer and/or Applications Specialist
• Experience in Quintiq and/or other MES-applications

You enjoy prestigeless problem-solving and prefer to involve others when doing so.  You feel confident communicating with a lot of people, on all levels. You are objective and fact-oriented in your decision making and welcome input from others. You feel at ease working in a multicultural environment and speaking English.  As the work involves numerous of national and international contact areas, we believe you are skilled in relation-building and cooperating with others. Your understanding of what the Business needs is an access and means you have no problem setting distinct requirements, both internally as towards suppliers.
